    Scouting Report

    Matilde Villa is lightning in a bottle. She is a blur from end to end and changes directions on a dime. Although she is flying down the court, she is always under control and has great touch in the paint, whether she's pulling up for a short jumper, floating one over a taller defender or sliding past the defense for a lay. Her jumper has improved mightily, and she doesn’t hesitate to shoot it against a myriad of defensive coverages. Defensively, she can defend both guard positions and she’s active. She will press full court and then cut off the offensive player consistently, often leading to steals and deflections.
